· The following remedies are useful when the aches and pains of spring and summer cause you distress.  Take the remedies in 30C potency, unless a stronger dose is recommended by your practitioner.


Arnica:  Use for aches and pains associated with overusing your body.  Take when you experience trauma which may lead to bruising.  This if very frequently the first remedy to take when injured.  Take 3 - 4 times a day for a day or two for minor trauma.  Can be taken prior to gardening, working out, etc. to help prevent aches and pains.

· Bryonia:  For pain worse from motion.  Better from wrapping or supporting. Often follows Arnica but is sometimes the first remedy that works.  Take as needed for pain worse from motion. 

· Rhus Tox:  For pain worse from first motion but better from continued motion.  This is useful for sprains, strains, etc., especially after taking Arnica.

· Ledum: For Puncture wounds and insect bites.  Take 3 - 4 doses for puncture wounds or stop if one dose is sufficient.

· Cocculus Indicus:  For nausea and vomiting caused by circular motion.  Bring along to the State Fair. Take before and after the ride. 

· Silica:  For forcing out a sliver that you can’t get out with a tweezer.  One dose should be sufficient. 

· Calendula Crème or Ointment:  For cuts and scrapes and preventing infection in the cuts and scrapes.
