Many people have a habit of holding onto old things. Sometimes for sentimental reasons, or perhaps maybe someone else will be able to get good use of them. PTSD is an example of holding onto something old, and certainly not for sentimental reasons. No one else will be able go get good use of it either. In this week of “National Old Stuff” day, make a commitment to get rid of the old stuff called PTSD. Homeopathy can help!
National Old Stuff Day
March 2nd is National Old Stuff Day. Although it was originally made up to appreciate old things, antiques etc. However, it can also be celebrated by getting rid of stuff that doesn’t serve you well. PTSD is one of those things.
According to the NIH, PTSD is defined as: “a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event.” It is normal to experience fear during and after a traumatic event. Having a “Flight or fight or flop” response is normal in order to protect oneself.
The D in PTSD points to the Disorder. That is, when you experience a range of possible reactions long after the event or events. Something isn’t working right when that happens.
Homeopathy Can Help!
Homeopathy operates on the level of delusion. That is, what do you believe to be true that really isn’t true? What kind of effect does that have on your life? (BTW, don’t be offended. Everyone is delusional.)
For example, someone may believe that they aren’t smart. They might believe that they aren’t good enough. Or, if they have PTSD, they believe that their life is in danger, even though that dangerous or scary event has long since passed.
I have had people comment that after homeopathy, some of their old beliefs have disappeared. “It was almost as though it was a dream.”
Get Rid of The Old Stuff
PTSD could be defined as holding on to beliefs that are no longer true. Initially, it was scary, and it was true. But no longer. It is old stuff. It doesn’t serve anyone well to hang onto it. But how do you get rid of it?
There are many methods that are possible. Most make you relive your experience over and over again. Not with homeopathy. I only want to know some details, but mostly, I am concerned with how you experienced the event than the revisiting of the event.
By giving you a homeopathic remedy that shares the same delusions that you are currently suffering from, the body can heal itself. (“Homeopathy” means similar suffering.) It is like a professional organizer who can tell you what to throw out and what to keep. Unlike conventional drugs, homeopathy won’t get rid of things you want to keep. This is known as a side effect in western medicine. (For example: Want to get rid of your depression? That’s great. Take an anti-depressant. But now, you won’t be able to sleep!)
Using Homeopathy to Get Rid of Old Stuff is Homeopathic
Homeopathy has been around for more than 200 years. It could also be considered old stuff. Using some “old stuff” to get rid of your “old stuff” is the definition of homeopathy; i.e., using something similar to heal. How clever!
