What is Your Word of the Year for 2023?
Each year, for the past several years, I have come up with a Word of the Year! This word is one I can focus on to help change my life in significant ways. Sometimes I have a phrase of the year.
Last year, my word of the year was HEAL. Although I didn’t write a blog post about it as I have in previous years, it was a successful word for me.
Choosing that word has some very obvious associations for me, as a natural health practitioner and homeopath. But we all need to do our own healing, and I especially wanted to focus on that. Not long after choosing that word, I took a class which prompted me to take a remedy that healed some dis-ease I had been carrying with me since I was 12 years old. I will write a blog post about that sometime soon.
Previous Words of the Year included a phrase, “Just See It” and the word “Impact”. In 2021, another word, that was business and personal related as well. Click here to see what it was. Those blog posts also offer suggestions on how to settle on a Word of the Year, which you might find helpful.
At last, my Word of the Year for 2023:
Drumroll please….
It took me awhile to come up with my word for 2023. Because it has some obvious relationships, I think it is a good choice. It feels right! Here’s why.
First of all, like all of us, I am not getting younger. The need and desire to feel more energy has become front and center for me. Increasing my feeling of being energetic will be accomplished by a number of actions. I am finding podcasts that energize me, supplements, homeopathic remedies (of course), exercise, diet, and much more. But I also want to feel energetic mentally. The same things can help that.
Second, Homeopathy is energetic medicine. The potentizing process brings out the energy and the essence of the substance used to make the remedy.
Finally, there is one of my favorite quotes from Nikolai Tesla:
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of Energy, Frequency and Vibration.” He is talking about homeopathy here, even if he didn’t know he was.
What word did you choose?
